Comissions

Camie Isabella Salaz

paints on Commission and communicates with her clients in person. She has no social media and can be reached for an in person studio visit through Bethany Arts Center @ 914-944-4ART or info@bethanyarts.org

Salaz takes commissions that align with her thematic interests: Mythology, Shakespeare/Poetry and Philosophical/Allegorical themes. She has a special love of Symbolism and Anthropomorphism, which is when the human figure embodies or personifies an idea like "Spring, or Wisdom" in a work of Art.

Pricing is set by size. Once a size and price are agreed upon by Salaz and Commissioner, a Preliminary Drawing is completed for review.  Once alterations and adjustments to the drawing are agreed upon, a Color Study is created.  When the Commissioner approves of and signs off on the Color Study, there is no further input from Commissioner. Salaz is professional and good natured and only works with clients who are professional and good natured.

Salaz has enjoyed a constant flow of Commission work for the past few years and has greatly enjoyed the ponderings and contemplations of her clients.  In many instances there has been an equaled passion for the subject matter from both parties, which is most thrilling and has resulted in a true co-creation of the work of art.
