Artist Bio

       

 

                                                                                        Born 1977, received her Batchelor of Fine Art's Degree in Drawing and Painting from Cornish College of the Arts, in Seattle Washington.  She moved to New York City in 2002 to study Traditional Drawing and Painting Technique with Jacob Collins. She fell in love with the Classical Painting tradition and her husband, Landscape Painter, Ken Salaz. She now resides in the beautiful Hudson River Valley with her husband and two sons.

 

     Salaz has been a professional artist and teacher for 30 years. She is happy to have found her dream studio at Bethany Arts Community. â€‹Salaz is an artist, poet and musician, and enjoys the study of Philosophy, Symbolism and Mythology.
